Assess Risk:

Tree risk assessment includes the ranking of the likelihood of a particular tree failing in whole or in part and causing significant property damage or injury.  The techniques used in insect and disease diagnostics are used, as well as additional methods to assess mechanical stability and the extent of decay or other defect.  Additional methods may include assessing sound wood thickness by drilling or coring the tree, and inspecting the tree by climbing it as well as excavating the root crown and major roots.  All work is presented in a written report that includes a risk assessment ranking and recommendations to mitigate the risk.
